These link bags are meticulously, labor-intensively made by hand. Each link connects to the other in such a way to create one tapestry ending in one primary connection. The brand's ethos is to work with materials and hides not traditionally considered “perfect;” others may consider them “perfectly imperfect.” 

The ideal handbag/day bag size, for smaller items that might slip through (your change, your lip balms, etc), try adding a dust bag or tote to the interior. 6" w x 7" h x 2" d; 9" handle drop.

NB: The majority of leathers used in SC103 accessories are remnants from manufacturing facilities and leather vendors, and thereby varied in nature. While rare, some slight surface discrepancies are characteristic of the materials used.
